Pastors, Awana Ministry Directors, Commanders, Directors, and Leaders,  Camp really is the highlight of the club year for many of the youth as well as our camp staff!  We are planning another unique week just for the special, award-winning youth in your Awana club.  Once again, Puget Sound Camp will be held at Black Diamond Camp - our host camp ground - near Auburn, WA

At Puget Sound Camp, they will be part of the exciting four-team competition.  Swimming, volleyball, climbing wall, crafts, basketball, gutter ball, zip line, black light dodge ball, drift trikes, and other activities will be available for them to enjoy.  They will also have the opportunity to make new, like-minded friends from around the Pacific NW.  Each one will have the opportunity to participate in Scripture memorization, Bible quizzing, and challenging Bible studies written especially for their age group.  There will be a ministry specifically planned for our high school young people entering grades 9-12.  Exciting high school activities are in the planning stage for this special week of camp.

We encourage you to use Puget Sound Camp as an incentive for your youth to complete their handbooks/manuals.  Those youth in your club who are entering sixth grade or higher and have completed one Awana handbook/manual in the 3rd through 12th grade are eligible for camp.   Upcoming 6th grade youth must be at least 10 years old by the first day of camp. High school aged youth must be 13 years old by the first day of camp.  Returning campers must complete one additional handbook/manual in the current handbook progression.  All work must be completed before camp begins.

The seven-day camp cost is $450 U.S. funds if registered by Dec 31st, 2019, but goes up incrementally after that date.  Included in the cost are all study materials, awards, and team shirts. These fees do not include transportation to the camp or spending money for the camp store. We encourage you to plan fund raisers and seek scholarships through your church as an incentive to your youth.

Challenge and motivate your clubbers to complete their handbooks or studies and join us for this unforgettable week!  We look forward to seeing many of them at Puget Sound Camp.  Please keep us in your prayers, the campers and adults alike, that God would use this time to challenge them in their walk with Him!  If you have any questions that cannot be answered on the website or application FAQs, please do not hesitate to contact me.
