Pastors, Awana Ministry Directors, Commanders, Directors, and Leaders,

Camp has historically been the highlight of the club year for many of the youth as well as our camp staff!  We have sorely missed the opportunity to spend a whole week pouring into these young souls these past two summers. But, we are planning another unique week just for the precious youth in your Awana club. Pacific Northwest Camp Camp will be held again at Mayfield Lake Youth Camp - our host camp - near Mossyrock, WA.

At Pacific Northwest Camp, they will be part of the exciting four-team competition we know and love in Awana.  Ample activities will be available for them to enjoy.  They will also have the opportunity to make new, like-minded friends from around the Pacific NW.  Each one will have the opportunity to participate in Scripture memorization, Bible quizzing, and challenging Bible studies written especially for their age group.  There will be a ministry specifically planned for our high school young people entering grades 9-12.  Exciting high school activities are in the planning stage for this special week of camp.

We encourage you to use Pacific Northwest Camp as an incentive for your youth to complete their handbooks/manuals.  First time campers must have completed any handbook/manual in T&T, Trek, or Journey clubs. Returning campers must complete the current Awana handbook/manual for the 2023-2024 year.   Upcoming 6th grade youth must be at least 10 years old by the first day of camp. High school aged youth must be 13 years old by the first day of camp.

The seven-day camp cost is $450 U.S. funds if registered by April 30th, 2023, but goes up incrementally after that date (see camp FAQs).  Included in the cost are all study materials, awards, and team shirts. These fees do not include transportation to the camp or spending money for the camp store. We encourage you to plan fund raisers and seek scholarships through your church as an incentive to your youth.

Challenge and motivate your clubbers to complete their handbooks or studies and join us for this unforgettable week!  We look forward to seeing many of them at Pacific Northwest Camp.  Please keep us in your prayers, the campers and adults alike, that God would use this time to challenge them in their walk with Him!  If you have any questions that cannot be answered on the website or FAQs, please do not hesitate to contact me. Warmly,

Dave Crawford, Co-Camp Director
